Winter remodel debris in a long-time Hyland Greens home
The Challenge
After one of those hard Westminster winters, we got a call from a Hyland Greens homeowner who'd started tearing out old flooring, trim, and a beaten-up basement setup from a 1950s-to-1980s house. The snow had finally cleared, but the driveway still held ice in the shade, and the garage smelled like damp drywall dust and old carpet glue. They needed a dumpster that wouldn’t chew up the driveway or block the mail and delivery routine, because the project had already backed up and the mess was taking over the whole house.
The Result
We rolled out a compact container, set the boards carefully, and placed it where the truck could lift clean without scraping the concrete. Our crew kept an eye on access, because Hyland Greens streets get tight once neighbors start parking and kids are outside. We talked through what could go in, what needed to stay out, and how to load heavy material first so the bin stayed balanced. The homeowner kept demo moving, the basement cleared fast, and the renovation finally had room to breathe.
Javi, you made the cleanup part feel easy, and we got the remodel moving again.
